- Description of Project: The Webb Lofts located at 92 Pearl Street is in the picturesque Joseph Ellicott Historic District. The Webb Lofts is a 130 year old former industrial belt factory. It was built in the Richardsonia Romanesque architecture.
The building has been placed on the National Historic Register and the developers have taken care to preserve all the interior and exterior historic features.
Each apartment has 11ft. ceilings, 10ft. windows, and the original brick walls. The developers have spared no expense in providing the finest finishes: they include, stainless steel counter tops, hardwood floors, limestone kitchen floor, white marble bathroom floors and tub surround, the finest kitchen cabinets, fireplaces and imported bath vanity from Italy.

designed this mixed-use low income housing
project for local artists and their families.
The developer has constructed many
of these around the country, but this
would be the first “Artspace” project for
New York State.
The project involves the adaptive reuse of
the historic daylit factory building into 36
hard loft units, gallery, storefront and
common use space, and the construction
of 24 new townhouse-style hard loft buildings
on the rear property. The design of
the new buildings and site employ the
artistic principles of this new residential
community, while integrating into the
existing context of the surrounding Mid
Town Buffalo neighborhood.
